This intermediate, knowledge- and application-based 2.0 contact hour (0.20 CEU) course prepares pharmacy technicians to support safe immunization encounters involving patients who use cannabis or cannabinoid products. It covers cannabinoid terminology, routes of use, nonjudgmental screening, vaccine contraindications and precautions, impairment recognition, post-vaccination monitoring, documentation, and pharmacist escalation. Learners apply the C.A.N.N.A.B.I.S. Vaccine Check through realistic patient cases and complete a 20-question assessment. This course is designed to support ACPE Topic Designator 06, Immunizations, requirements; CE credit or PTCB recognition depends on formal provider accreditation and listing.
