A message from our CEO
My name is LaTonya Warren, and I am the CEO and Founder of Armintia, LLC, a federally certified, SWaM-certified, and Veteran-owned cannabinoid research, development, and education company. The name Armintia honors my amazing grandmother, Armintia Watson, a dynamic woman and holistic cannabis healer whose wisdom and spirit continue to inspire this work.
At Armintia, we are committed to advancing cannabis education and opportunity. We proudly partner with Roanoke College, the first and only college in Virginia to offer a bachelor’s degree in cannabis studies, to provide the required training course for individuals preparing to work in dispensaries.
I hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry and currently serve as Lab Director at Green Alliance Labs, a state-accredited cannabis testing facility. I am also honored to serve on the Cannabis Advisory Taskforce Board, appointed by Mayor Dyer of Virginia Beach, and as Research and Education Chair for the Cannabis Small Business Association (CSBA).
This work is deeply personal to me, blending science, advocacy, and education to create pathways for others in an industry that is still growing and defining itself, just as my grandmother once did, with compassion, knowledge, and vision.
