This 120-minute continuing pharmacy education course strengthens pharmacy technicians’ knowledge of HIV pharmacotherapy, cannabinoid use, drug interactions, adverse effects, medication adherence, medication reconciliation, patient communication, and appropriate pharmacist referral. Learners examine antiretroviral drug classes, THC and CBD pharmacology, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic interaction risks, symptom-management concerns, and technician scope-of-practice limits when supporting patients with HIV.
