This 2-hour, intermediate knowledge- and application-based continuing education activity is designed for Pharmacy Technicians and CPhTs under PTCB Topic 05: Patient Safety. The syllabus covers cannabinoid product recognition, dosing and concentration calculations, label interpretation, high-risk patient screening, adverse-effect signals, medication-error prevention, and technician-to-pharmacist escalation. By the end, participants will be able to differentiate common cannabinoids; interpret product labels and calculate doses across mg/package, mg/serving, and mg/mL; identify high-risk patients and error risks; use the C.A.N.N.A.B.I.S. medication-reconciliation framework; and escalate clinical concerns within technician scope of practice. Completion requires full attendance, an 80% passing score on a 10-question post-test, and course evaluation submission.
